What's Next???

 So here we are,  looking into the wide unknown and wondering often.... what's next? Our young adult son is peering over the precipice of childhood and staring adulthood in the eyes.  It's a normal rite of passage eagerly anticipated but what does that look like for our young adults with special needs? What if it doesn't seem like they are ready to venture forth? There are so many doubts and fears that cloud our thoughts and they can become a roadblock in our childs journey. So, I ask again, what's next?   In this situation, we've asked our son and ourselves lots and lots of probing questions to discern what is best for him.  We've role played, researched, read lots of articles and books, and have done our very best to prepare him. We've even gone over the worst possible scenarios and discussed each thoroughly. This is necessary because our son has behavior issues that hinder his growth and progress.
